This is a fretboard

The strings are numbered from 1 (the thinnest, highest) to 6 (the thickest, lowest). Played open, from low to high, they are E A D G B E. Each fret raises the note by a semitone, and at the 12th fret each string plays its open note again, one octave higher. Tap any fret to hear it.
